week1 in first trimester of pregnancy:

Changes in the mother’s body:

At this stage the uterus releases its egg and planning to place in your Fallopian tube which meets with one lucky swimming sperm. The first two stages of pregnancy you might not be knowing it because there will not be any symptoms of pregnancy and you won’t be actually pregnant. That s the reason your doctor calculates your due date as first day of the last month period not exactly when the baby starts forming.(Approximately from 15 to 16th day)

changes in the baby:

Its just technically considered as the first week of pregnancy. Consider L M P from the day 1 of your last month period. The complete stage of pregnancy is about 280 days. But still the conception won’t occur for next 13 days, its totally confusing…. am i right!!

week2 in first trimester of pregnancy:

changes in the mother’s body:

Good news!!! this is the conception week. The journey for 280 days starts now. Around 130 million to 500 million sperms are traveling from the Fallopian tube to reach the egg. Out of that only 200 of them will be successfully traveling, surprisingly only one will reach the egg. Shockingly, you won’t feel this at all. At this stage you may feel little cramping you may notice some symptoms of pregnancy.

changes in the baby:

The egg is been fertilized, which will split in to two nuclei( the genes of you and your partner). For every 12 hours these cells will be rapidly doubled. At this stage the gender, face, color of the hair, eyes and personality of the baby is almost decided.

week3 in first trimester of pregnancy:

changes in the mother’s body:

You may observe a little spotting at this stage, don’t be panic. This is due to the baby implants into your uterine lining. You may feel tired, nausea and enlargement of your breast. Mood swings at this stage is very rapid due to hormonal changes. Frequent urination is observed, your sense of smell may be sharper and the body temperatures may be high.

changes in the baby:

The safely settled two parts of the cell forms in to a little ball of several cells in no time. The one part of the cells builds in to embryo and the other part into placenta. This placenta will provide all the food needs like essential nutrients, proteins and vitamins to the embryo. The embryo and uterus lining will work together to create blood vessels for the oxygen supply and food supply to the placenta.Hurray! your baby is the size of a sugar crystal, which is made of 500 cells.

week4 in first trimester of pregnancy:

changes in the mother’s body:

Congratulation!! bow your growing baby is in the size of a “POPPY SEED”. The real start has arrived!! your placenta started growing. The heart beats more quickly than before to pump the blood to the baby. At this there a huge requirement of increase in blood level. The mother should take iron rich food to improve the H B levels. You look so tired and need to rest in sufficient. The extra blood is moving fast in to your breast, which makes you feel breast tenderness. You can observe darkness around your nipples.

changes in the baby:

The embryo is completely busy in creating the placenta, umbilical cord and all the other basic needs Now the embryo divides in to three parts, which will transform in to three different parts of the baby’s body. The inner layer will transform into intestines, lungs and liver also known as Endoderm. The middle layer into heart, bones, kidneys and sex organs aka Mesoderm. The outermost layer aka Ectoderm develops in to the hair, skin, nervous system and eyes.
