High Risk Pregnancy Complications:

Almost all the women successfully go through their pregnancy stages without any complications. But very few has to face some minor or high risk pregnancy complications which will affect the health of a mother, the baby or sometimes the both. The complication may occur in three stages, the mother with complications become pregnant, complications arise during pregnancy and some complications prop up during delivery.

4. HIV:

HIV is a sexually transmitted disease. The pregnant women should be more careful while participating in intercourse with their partner, make sure by taking a test in prior. It may also occur due to the re-usage of the injections or syringe. Be careful while taking the injections.

5. Premature labor:

Preterm labor occurs before the due date, approximately between week 30 to week 37. At that stage the baby’s brain development would be still under process. During that stage the doctor may stop your labor and suggest you to take bed rest.

Many varieties of bacterial and viral infection may bring complications in the pregnancy. These infections may cause harm to both the baby and the mother as well. The infections may occur lack of hydration, consumption of raw meat, usage of high concentrated yeast and cheeses. Some bacteria may transmit through the pets. The best way to avoid the infections and bacteria is by washing hands frequently. There are many vaccinations available, take the proper prescription from the doctor before taking any vaccination.

7. Multiple Pregnancies:

Multiple pregnancy is a pregnancy that has more than 2 or 3 fetuses in the mother. It happens when more than one egg is fertilized which is called fraternal twinning. 9. Age:

The Age factor is very important when you are planning for pregnancy. If your age is less than 17 or more than 35 then you are in high risk pregnancy because in this age there are more chances of miscarriage.

10. Mental Health Issues:

If you have any mental health issues like depression, anxiety. It will increase in your pregnancy risk. Depression or anxiety can shoot up your blood pressure and can cause hormone imbalance.

11. Alcohol Consumption:

Alcohol consumption increases your risks in your pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to be pregnant its better to avoid alcohol because it affects you and your baby. When you drink alcohol it passes from your blood through placenta. Your baby cannot be able to process alcohol which results in improper development of your baby. If you are drinking alcohol in first trimester of your pregnancy then there are high chances of miscarriage.

12. Smoking Habit:

When a pregnant woman smokes, then it can effect her baby by passing nicotine, carbon monoxide through placenta to your baby. Smoking increases the risk of miscarriage, premature birth, stillbirth and low birth weight in your baby.

  • It’s better to have a pre pregnancy health checkup before planning for pregnancy.
  • Take healthy diet, include healthy vegetable and fruits in your diet.
  • Take 400 MG of folic acid with your doctor’s consultation. Folic acid is essential for the development of the fetus.
  • Exercise by consulting your doctor or in experts supervision.
  • If you have a habit of smoking or alcohol consumption, avoid them.
